Eagle Farm based Liam Birchley has been involved in the racing industry for many years and has made a name for himself as one of Queensland’s best trainers.
Liam prepared himself well from an early age to become one of Queensland’s top performing trainers. He secured a Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Production and then commenced four years in thoroughbred breeding, working between Turangga Stud in New South Wales and Trelawney Stud in New Zealand.
He has held positions with some of the biggest names in racing worldwide including; Foreman to Brian Mayfield Smith at Nebo Lodge, Assistant trainer to American trainer Neill Drysdale in California and Bill Mitchell in Brisbane.
