Black Mink Loves the Mud

Black Mink once again showed a distinct liking for the heavy surfaces when scoring a solid win over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast.

The claim for Adam Sewell allowed Black Mink into the race with only 52.5kgs on her back which was the same weight she carried when winning at Eagle Farm beating stable mate Sista Act

In the four horse field Sewell position Black Mink outside the leader Truculent until well in the straight before asking the little filly for an effort and she responded as expected revelling in the heavy conditions over the concluding stages to win by two lengths.

Black Mink displays a distinct liking for wet tracks and light weights having not carried any more than 53kgs in all three of her wins.

Congratulation to owners Mark Mclean, Peter Daniel, David Atkinson, Trevor Luke, Scott Webber, Rob Picking, Graeme Sullivan, Chris Wessel, Wayne Muller, Troy Schmidt, Brad Henderson, Leanne Sullivan and Noel Maccarthy

Black Mink was strapped by Jan Aitkenhead.
