Magic Mystery showed his appreciation for the soft track and the step up to 1350m when winning at Ipswich.

Controlling the race from the lead allowed Matthew McGillivray to dictate the pace during the race which suited Magic Mystery.

Starting a hot favourite at $1.60 Magic Mystery never gave his owners any need for concern.

Once Magic Mystery obtained the lead early in the race Battle Plane settled in second position with Prince Husson third and the 2yo Strong And Fast back in fourth.

There was no real change in the running order throughout the race with all horses finishing in the order they settled in early in the race.

Congratulation to all the owners Mr A Stephenson, Mr R W Sargent, Mr M A McLean, Mr C A Tompson, Mr P Webster, Mr C J Wessel, Mr P J Daniel, Mr P J McPherson, Mr S M Filipek, Mr S W Costa, Mr M A McPherson, Mr B R Johnstone, Mr T J Swan & Mr P D Wotherspoon

On this occasion Magic Mystery was strapped by Donna Fisher.
